Miss Melrose was born from my own kitchen — the late-night baking, the slow Sunday meals, the simple rituals that make a house feel like home.

For years, customers asked for the recipes behind our sauces, breads, and café cookies — the things they wanted to make and enjoy in their own homes. And somewhere between motherhood, running a small business, and keeping dinner on the table, I realized that’s exactly what I wanted too.

I wanted a pantry full of things I could rely on — classics that always turn out, that make everyday meals easier and a little more beautiful. No fuss. No overthinking. Just good food, made well.

So Miss Melrose became my way of sharing the recipes and staples that anchor my own home. The cookie mix my boys grew up on (now our famous Melrose bakery cookie). The olive oil I keep beside the stove. The focaccia that fills the whole café with warmth. Things meant to be cooked, shared, gifted, and enjoyed in the real, messy, lovely rhythm of everyday life.
